Mid-Weight Interior Designer [Freelance]

CONTRACT TYPE: Freelance
LOCATION: Remote
SHE DRAFTS is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our studio on a freelance basis. The role is suited to a designer who is confident, detail-driven and able to contribute meaningfully to our client’s projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Working closely with our team, you will play a key role in progressing projects across multiple stages, from concept to construction. We are looking for someone who thrives in collaborative autonomy, and is comfortable managing our client’s expectations as they are producing documentation.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
  • 4-7 years experience within a design studio in either residential or commercial sectors
  • Proficiency in VECTORWORKS is essential — applications without this will not be considered 
  • Advanced technical documentation and detailing skills
  • Exceptional communication skills and confidence in client management 
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and work with initiative 
  • Strong collaborative mindset — able to step into a client’s design mode and champion their vision with care
